Part 2- Why Do High Carbohydrate diets And Low Fat Diets Make You Fatter?
Solutions To Lower Your Carbohydrates And Burn Fat Faster
1. Avoid or completely eliminate refined sugars.
2. Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. This keeps your body moving and reduces cravings for junk food.
3. Try to consume about 30 to 40% of your diet with complex carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates are naturally high in fiber and will have slower blood sugar reactions.
If you are craving sugary snacks a few hours after your last meal you probably eat too many carbohydrates.
Please remember everybody has setbacks. Just keep going and don’t beat yourself up over your setbacks.
4. Consume lean protein in each meal.
5. Eat healthy fats like olive oil, nuts, avocadoes etc.
6. Drink lots of water. At least 8 glasses each day. Avoid caffeine or dramatically decrease whenever possible.
7. Exercise with weight/resistant training and interval cardio training
Weight training has been proven to be one of the fastest ways to burn fat. It will tone and build muscle which burns fat even when you are resting.
Focus on exercising the large muscle groups like legs, back, and glutes. 30 to 45 minutes is recommended. Don’t do everyday. Your muscle needs a day to rest and repair.
Interval cardio training is where you take your intensity up for a minute of two (running, swimming, treadmill, steps etc.) and then take your intensity down for about 30 seconds to a minute. Do this for about 20 to 30 minutes.
When you are exercising, REMEMBER the most effective fastest way to get results is to exercise with intensity. You should feel as you are coming out of your comfort zone. It needs to be intense to be effective.
Throw away the diet fads and think healthy. Eating natural wholesome foods with the right kind of exercise will naturally shed the pounds.
